Modeling in Abandoned Places

The pandemic brought on a drought of customers for a lot of small business.
In today’s world, having constant content is what keeps you present in today’s ever viral, trendy society.
Without having clients to do photos of though, and with practicing social distancing, I decided to take up a challenge.
Being a photographer has always left me more comfortable behind the camera, but I decided it was time to step up and model for myself.

I chose Abandoned Places to model because it’s where I’ve always felt most comfortable.
Something about the blanketed silence throughout the halls and rooms.
The paint and wallpaper curling back to revel the walls barren, lack of décor.
The sound of tile, dirt, and debris crunching underfoot.
Water dripping from an unknown source, while a bird flies quickly out an unframed window.

With each shoot, I am capturing myself through a timer, or a remote capture. Occasionally, I will also shoot video while doing the captures.
In the future, I would love to have more models than just myself.
